Thanks for the info everyone! I just got a 96 LS650 and I'm glad to find this discussion. I was wondering which octane to use. Think I'll go with premium. Am also wondering about the slight backfire and will read on for comments. Also looking forward to finding out about accessories. I really like the bike...a 96 with 2500 miles!
